Ivor G. Wilks (1928-2014) est un universitaire africaniste, historien et spécialiste du Ghana et particulièrement de l'histoire du royaume ashante. Il a terminé sa carrière comme professeur émérite à la Northwestern University de l'Illinois (USA)
